Didnt go to the seaside in the end went to Birmingham on the train. Was a pretty cool day drank a bottle of red wine in "All Bar One" at Brindley Place, mmmmm "Hellfire Bay" deelish! Had some yummy tapas and then went to a lovely esoterical shop called "Zen" just around the corner. Its a really nice shop has a lovely atmosphere and lots of nice books and things to browse.
Anyways Ive always wanted to have my Tarot Cards read but never have. Well as a present somebody paid for me to have it done. I was soooo nervous as I stood waiting in the shop. Then they really nice man came down the stairs introduced himself and escorted me to this little curtained den where he did his readings. Well he was really nice made me feel very comfortable and it was spot on! I actually laughed at how acurate he read the situation I was in. I late told him how acurate it had been and he gave me some really good practical things I could do to help get myself moving out of my current situation to where I wanted to be. Made me see that I could accomplish what I wanted but made me see that It coudnt be done all in one day. I felt totally invigorated and so much more at ease mentally that I could move on and that I wasnt going mad in thinking I could do something I wanted to do.
Watched "The Painted Veil" last night, its got really good reviews and won awards aparently but It didnt do anything for me, I was totally bored throughout and thought the acting really dull and the whole film seemed to have a real lack lustre quality about it. Maybe it was just me.
Ive got another dvd to watch not sure if its going to be ok I read the back and it seemed really interesting its called "innocence" I think its french with subtitles. From the reading the back it kinda reminded me of the anime "Heibane Renmai" Ill let you know if its any good.
Im in the middle of making a new bracelet not sure what its going to turn out like yet. Ill load a picture up when its done. I think im going to call it Milky Way.
Ahhh the joy of a Friday Night, its almost better than a saturday because saturday is yet to be. I think Friday nights is probably the best time of the week. Weather is autumnal but sunny and nice and tommorrow I think I will be heading to the seaside in Wales for one last look at the sea before winter arrives.
Not sure where in Wales yet but Ill probably let you know tommorrow. Cant wait to get out of this city for some fresh air.
Yanno I think my cat is starting to like me shes been quite affectionate this week.
Yes Mooncradle is me, when i'm feeling in an inspirational mood I make jewellery and wine charms. I have my shop over on Etsy.com. Here is just a small selection of what I currently have for sale. You can click on a picture and it will take you directly to my store. My most recent items will always appear in my side bar too.
My cat hates me shes been so moody today, she keeps giving me filthy looks and bites me. She is the weirdest cat! and i hate this stupid new keyboard, its one of those curved for comfort keyboards except I cant type on the damn thing!
Im starving hungry but hanging out till dinner time, going up the parents for my dads brilliant homemade curry. Deeeelish!
Roll on Payday$$$
Decided that I had neglected Lucy for at least a month and she was so excited about her new red coat and beanie and sneakers that she wanted to show off. So took a few nice piccies of her showing off her new autumn outfit. Just need to get her a little bag now and shes all set to go and jump about in the leaves.
Work Stinks?? I guess having had a bad day at work is not a good day to start a blog is it. So whats good about today? Ooo its a Friday, I think Friday nights is even better than Saturdays, because Saturday is to come, no work, a nice lie in. Mooch around all day in my pj’s. Bliss.
Things to do this weekend….. practice my japanese. I just started Japanese lessons two weeks ago and so far am loving it! wish I had done this years ago but then again I dont actually think there were classes available. Seems to be getting popular though, aparently the last few beginners classes they only had about 6 or 7 people barely enough to keep the class running. However, this term its exploded to over 20 people. They have to move rooms for us because the room isnt big enough to fit us all in.
Our teacher is really nice, shes so bubbly and enthusiastic and its catching. However I must have the only Japanese teacher whos got a phobia of Anime! Its the one thing most of us in the class have in common, to chat about our favourite anime and manga but our teacher hasnt seen any of it. Shes started to teach us Hiragana, i only have to remember about 47 symbols of phonetic alphabet..lol heaven help me. And thats before katakana and kanji.
Roll on pay day. I hate having no money and next month is a 5 week month for me. I want to buy my Blythe doll some Doc Martin Boots she will look so cute with those and her black and white stockings. Ill have to take some more photos of Lucy this weekend she looks so much different from when i got her. After several hair washes to get the factory grease out of her hair shes looking very cute now. Im tempted to remove her red lipstick but thats the only thing that makes her a Rosie Red Encore. I wanted to find somebody who can boggle her eyes and change her front facing eyechips, I just too scared to do it myself. I made a mess of cutting her fringe(bangs)..why do americans call a fringe, bangs? its seems to me the weirdest word.
Well Sophie my cat is telling me Its time to lavish attention on her.
